Growing up in the mountains of Hiroshima, Rumi was surrounded by the beauty and nature of Japan. This authentic Japanese writer/director brings the true Japanese experience to the western audience. Rumi has a bachelors in law from Chuo University and has had a career as a Broadway actress and choreographer. As a storyteller, she creates a perfect combination of words and art to create a powerful script/film to touch audiences everywhere.
JOSEPH PHAM
CO-WRITER
Born and raised in Texas, Joseph joined the U.S. Marines straight out of high school. He was given an incredible world view, being stationed in Hawaii, with missions across Asia. After his service, he graduated with a bachelors in finance, and lived and worked in New York. His journey led him to Japan where he learned to fully understand the Japanese culture and its intricacies. His passion for the written word has driven him to a career in writing, with several novels published under a pseudonym.
BRIAN RUBIANO

Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA). Brian produced his 1st live show at the Historic Stonewall Inn, a one night benefit show entitled The Color IZ. Brian is one of the Post-Production Producers for a documentary entitled Amy’s Victory Dance by SpinKick Pictures. He has continued his collaboration with Brian Thomas by producing another feature documentary entitled FollowLeadLOVE by Transend’Daens. Brian spent his early years serving in the United States Army, followed by a career as a professional dancer and healthcare administrator. His vast abilities in various disciplines made the obvious next step for him to create a company that provides a platform for unconventional, non-traditional and creative projects. He wants to be of service to the greater good of humanity through collaboration of various and diverse organizations and individuals and produce films of social and cultural relevance.
BRIAN THOMAS
CINEMATOGRAPHER
Emmy Nominated Choreographer for Michael Jackson 's 30th Anniversary Special, Glam Winner for Best Music Video, and Commercial Photographer, Brian Thomas has worked in all avenues of the biz over the past 25 years. Originally from Michigan, Brian moved to NYC in 1993 to pursue a commercial dance career. It didn't take him long to land his dream job, the 1995 MTV music awards dancing beside MICHAEL JACKSON . After many years of touring with various artists as a dancer, BT started teaching at the BROADWAY DANCE CENTER. This launched his choreography career progressing to directing and photography. Brian's education in film/photography started at School of Visual Arts in NYC. He still studies there training under directors such as Bob Giraldi & Todd Stephens. His love of dance and film was obvious, which led him to directing music video's, short films, documentaries and commercials.
ANGELITA ESPERANZA

Angelita Esperanza is a Filipina actor, producer and director based out of Los Angeles and New York City. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in their Acting Shakespeare program and the Musical Theatre Intensive at Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. On camera credits include Criminal Minds and The Blacklist. She’s worked as an Associate Producer for numerous TV shows including Gossip Girl for HBO Max and Tommy for CBS.

Keiko started her theater career as an actress with Tokyo Kid Brothers, Japan. After moving to the U.S. she worked in many different careers, including Motherhood.
Keiko started Costume designing for School plays, then Youth theater, Off-Off Broadway Theaters (LaMama) and Off Broadway shows. As a wardrobe designer, she worked at many venues (Metropolitan Opera, ABT Ballet) and currently works on several Broadway productions. Her costume design credits include: Magic Pot, Three tales from China (TADA Youth Theater), Sayonara (Pan Asian Repertory), Forest Song (Yara Arts) and Slap (Yara Arts).

Laura Calle is a Colombian filmmaker based in New York. Laura has traveled extensively and her experiences around the world have given her the opportunity to reinvent herself personally and professionally, this time as a script supervisor. Her passion for storytelling helps her connect with the subjects of the films as if their stories were her own, giving depth of perception to all her projects. Laura earned her degree in Film and Video Production from City College of New York, and is always working on expanding her portfolio through original projects and collaborations.

Natsuko Hirano is an experienced musical theater performer who has appeared in many Off Broadway and Regional theatre productions. She starred as KATSUMI in the Off Broadway Production of “SAYONARA” and is thrilled to be a part of the world of "Spirit Box". Originally from Fukuoka, Japan. @natsukohirano7
Eddy is a former United States Marine. After the military, he followed his dream of becoming a filmmaker. He started in modeling in the late 90's, then moved on to acting in 2000. He became a member of SAG in 2006. In 2015, he started making videos on various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. After finishing film school, Eddy went on to write and direct a several short films. His work is heavily influenced by directors like Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, and Steve Spielberg, to name a few. Eddy enjoys freelancing because he loves the opportunity to work with different groups of people.

Jered Kirby has been involved in Combat for Screen & Stage and Western Martial Arts for 25 years. He teaches in New York City (and the metro area) and has choreographed fights Off-Broadway, Nationally, in London and Sydney.As a Fight Coordinator, Jared has worked with stars such as Peter Sarsgaard, Steve Guttenberg, Cameron Douglas and has trained performers who are working on hit shows. Jared is a member of Actor’s Equity and SAG/AFTRA.
Jared has been featured in the New York Times, Backstage, Vulture, MentalFloss, InsideHook, NJ Magazine, and Dance Magazine. He is the president of Combat Con in Las Vegas, past president of Art of Combat, and served for six years on the board of the International Order of the Sword & Pen.
